Description: A
touristic steam train ride along the beautiful Trieux valley, offering
views of the Château de la Roche Jagu as well as the river Trieux.
Our recommendations:
Check the timetable carefully as the service does not run every day and
when it does there is only one, or at the most two, services. Note that
the trip usually includes a short stop in the Trieux Valley Forest at Traou Nez where you can stretch your legs.
For the children: Of course the steam train ride is made for
them although really young children will probably tire of it before the
end. Another good day trip you can make from Paimpol is a boat ride to
the Ile de Brehat (this trip departs from Pointe de l'Arcouest, 6km
north of Paimpol on the D789). |
