Côte d'Azur Attractions  As you might expect the emphasis in this region is on sun, sea and sand.  Amongst our favourite attractions are Aqualand and Aquatica, ideal for those days when you want to have a bit of fun in the water without battling amongst the sun worshippers!  The region also boasts some remarkable scenery with the incredible Massif de l'Esterel, the Lerins Islands and the Gorge du Verdon, the world's second largest gorge, just a couple of hours drive inland.

Aqualand

Location: Located between St Raphael and St Tropez at Les Bosquets, on the D25 road (towards the A8) just north
of Sainte Maxime.
General Info: Open from the 6th June till the 2nd September in 2004. Entrance fees €23.50 for adults and
€17 for children.
Description: One of the Aqualand chain of water theme parks this particular one comes highly recommended.  Visit their web site for further information.  Sadly we’ve never had chance to visit but would appreciate your feedback if you’ve been there.
Our recommendations: Try to go out of peak season to avoid the crowds.  Also there are several other Aqualand water parks in the Côte d'Azur, so if you aren't very close to this one, check their website for ones closer to where you are staying - it will save on battling with the Côte d'Azur traffic!
