Les Quatres Chenes is an 18th Century farmhouse with a beautiful garden set in 16 acres of tranquil countryside.  The farmhouse is located in a peaceful hamlet, just 100m from woodland, with the village of Le Fleix just 1.5kms away.  Here you can find the local supermarket, garage, restaurant, post-office, stationer and bakers. Les Quatres Chenes offers spacious, high quality accommodation, full of character with oak beams and exposed stone walls.

Accommodation:

The well appointed accommodation at Les Quatres Chenes includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a large lounge/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen offering a washing machine, microwave oven, dishwasher, tumble dryer and 2 fridge/freezers.  The comfortable lounge (pictured below left) has satellite TV with a video and DVD player as well as a CD music system.

One of the bedrooms (pictured above middle) is located on the ground floor.  This is a twin bedroom/sitting room with an en-suite bathroom and French windows to the garden.  This room is suitable for disabled guests.

The house has two telephone lines and email access is available.

For children we provide a cot and a high chair.  We can also offer free babysitting as the owners are on hand to offer any assistance.

Outside there is a private patio with a private, floodlit swimming pool (pictured above right).  Sun loungers are provided. There is a choice of two floodlit barbecues.

All linen and towels are provided for your use, along with a general food pack - invaluable when you arrive after a long journey!

Attractions:

Les Quatres Chenes is close to a superb golf course, fishing, riding, bird watching, canoeing/kayaking, walking, cycling, aquarium, castles & chateaux, water theme park, tenpin bowling and night club. There are many restaurants in Ste-Foy-La-Grande (7 minutes) and Bergerac (17 minutes).   For further information, refer to the France For Families website which has advice on the best attractions in the area.

Les Quatres Chenes is situated close to the Dordogne river, 1.5km from the small village of le Fleix, 6km from Ste-Foy-la-Grande and 20km from Bergerac.  Bergerac airport is just 20 minutes drive.  For a detailed map click here.
