Lot-et-Garonne & Tarn Attractions  - spread over a wide area and perhaps overshadowed by its more famous neighbour (the Dordogne), however the region still has plenty to interest you during your holiday, with enchanting towns and villages, spectacular rivers, chateaux, caves and more besides.  Also, although a long way from the sea, there are no shortage of swimming lakes (Base de Loisirs) where you can cool down in those hot summer months.

Walibi Theme Park

Location: At the Château de Caudoin, just outside Agen.
General Info: English website.  Open every day from June 15th-September 2nd 2007. Limited opening from 07/04-30/09.  Entrance fees are Adult €24.70, Child €20.20 aged 3-11.
Description: A member of the Six Flags group of theme parks, the Walibi Aquitaine attraction and leisure park offers a variety of traditional theme park rides with some lovely water based rides.
Our recommendations: Check ahead for the timing of the evening firework displays – a perfect way to round off the day. You might like to buy a season pass for unlimited access to 7 of the group’s theme parks for €54 per person.  Another option is to purchase tickets at a discount from the tourist office in Agen.
For the children: They will have a great time.  There are some rides provided with the younger child in mind so the whole family should have a great day out here – if you like theme parks!
