Description: A world famous 230ft long tapestry depicting the
events leading up to the Norman conquest of England in 1066.
An audio
commentary is available to aid your enjoyment.
Our recommendations: If you are interested in history, then it
would be criminal to pass by the opportunity to see the tapestry. On
the other hand, if you are not, then this is a place best avoided as
it is not high on easy entertainment.
For the children: If they are doing a school history project on
the Normans then it’s a must, otherwise they will be reluctant
company! |
