Website.
Description: One of the best caves in the area with a several huge
chambers and many of the obligatory stalagmites and stalactites!
The actual visit in the cave is guided and is 1 hour long. A lift takes
you up at the end of the tour. There is a good visitor centre here
and it is possible to picnic in the woods adjacent to the main car park.
Our
recommendations: Equally worth visiting on a really hot day (when you
will be able to keep cool as it is only 13 deg C underground – take a woolly!) or on a rainy day to get out of the rain!
For the
children: They will enjoy this place although it is not pure
entertainment.
Fascinating cave scenery.
