*Our Favourite Resorts - La Tania...* Located at 1400m in the Courchevel valley, La Tania is located in one of the worlds largest ski areas, comprising of 5 resorts – Couchevel, Meribel, Les Menuires, Val Thorens and La Tania. It boasts 600km of marked runs, 200 direct ski lifts, over 1230 snow cannons and a tremendous variety of skiing for all abilities. It was built for the 1992 Olympics and has expanded since then and now has a variety of chalets and apartments nestling in the pine forest.	Our likes/dislikes: It is a pedestrian only resort which is particularly safe for children. The village has its own tourist office, supermarket and post office as well as several bars and restaurants. The modern Tania gondola links directly into the Trois Vallées system and the blue tree lined piste, Folyeres is one of the prettiest runs in the Three Valleys and has snow cannons all the way into the village to ensure there is snow down into the village for the entire season.
