French roadAdvice on your journey

Driving in France can be a wonderful experience, especially if you take time to enjoy it.  Our advice will help you to make the experience all the more enjoyable.  French roads can be very empty and the broad long Route Nationales "N roads" make for very reasonable progress but at a much more relaxed pace than the Autoroutes.  Furthermore the French consider eating a national heritage, so they have innumerable rest areas where you can stop for a short break to stretch your legs, or for picnics.
